Majors Baseball is for players 11 to 12 years old. For any boys in the Onsted School district or part of the Onsted School System.
Majors play two to three days per week, games being Tuesday and Thursday, practice days to be determined. Practices are typically two hours. Majors is strictly kid pitch. At this age level coaches will determine where a player is strongest on the field and will be developing each player where they are proven to be an asset to the team.
Practice participation at this age level may affect play time in games. It is up to the discretion of the coaching staff.
Participants are required to have a glove, hard athletic cup and cleats. No metal cleats are allowed.
Shared helmets, bats and catcher equipment are provided.
Players are welcome to bring their own bats, catcher equipment and helmet to use, bats must be USA stamped. Please verify the USA stamp as they will be checked by coaching staff and little league umpires. Bats without the USA stamp are prohibited. We highly suggest putting your child's name on any personal equipment.
Placement is automatic and based off of your child's birthdate; if you feel the program your child has been placed in is incorrect or not right for your child evaluations may be requested. Please email [email protected]
